The World Needs more Rebels.
Those who are willing to break the rules, challenge the status quo and stand out in a crowd.
I just finished the book Rebel Talent by Francesca Gino. It talks about how releasing your inner Rebel can change how you work and live.
Here are 5 Thing I am taking away to help with my own inner Rebel:
1) Wear red sneakers (Or what ever makes you feel most comfortable) it can change your energy regardless of the dress code. When we are authentic ... we create our best selves.
2) See things as "Happy Accidents" - see what you can learn, vs how it went wrong.
3) Let music inspire your perspective to help you see things differently. Some of the best food in Italy was created this way, by the way.
4) Share stories to create engagement. Stories show us our similarities not our differences.
And the most important is
"There is no better time for Rebel Action then now."
Even though it's tough being a rebel all the time... it goes against are internal drivers and human nature. However if we want to bring out the best in our talent we have to be willing to stand out in the crowd.
